On May 8, 2017 the CLRB awarded a decision in favour of the certification application submitted in October 2015. The Board has rejected the employer’s attempt to have dispatchers treated as managers and therefore excluded from collective bargaining.  The resulting certificate therefore amends our existing bargaining unit at Ingersoll so that dispatchers are now included in the unit.

On May 25, 2017 Unifor Local 88 requested a meeting with DCT to discuss this decision and how it will affect the current collective agreement. We will inform all of the outcome of this meeting.
