Don’t rush a bad deal on NAFTA: Unifor

Please read the following message from Jerry Dias, Unifor National President. I urge each Unifor Local 88 member to participate. We have a once in a generation opportunity to fix fundamental flaws with NAFTA, but that opportunity is about to be squandered. After spending months in negotiations, the Canadian government is considering signing on to an “Agreement in Principle” with the American and Mexican governments, which would commit us to a deal without knowing the specifics. We can’t let this happen. Add your voice to show Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland that they must not sign another bad trade deal without even knowing what’s in it. Sign up now to send a united message. This deal could come as early as Friday, April 13. Add your name and send the link to y...
