NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS – UNIFOR LOCAL 88

TRIENNIAL ELECTIONS – 2018

Take note that under our Constitution, every eligible member in good standing with a minimum of one (1) year seniority, is automatically nominated for all offices and requires members who wish to accept nomination to indicate their intentions in writing in the manner prescribed in the Notice of Nominations.

NOTE: ONLY SKILLED TRADES ARE ELIGIBLE TO RUN FOR SKILLED TRADES POSITIONS

Nomination ballots will be available both electronically and at the Union Hall (364 Victoria Street, Ingersoll). Ballots must be completed in their entirety.   All nomination ballots will be placed in a sealed ballot box.

After the deadline for acceptance of nominations, the Election Committee will check membership records of all nominees to determine whether or not the nominee was in continuous good standing for one (1) year immediately preceding the nomination.
