Local 88 Women’s Committee is hosting it’s 8th Persons Day Social on Saturday October 19th from 1pm – 4pm at the union hall.
Come join us for an afternoon tea and fundraiser! We will enjoy delicious appetizers, desserts and tea (cash bar will be open). A silent auction and raffle table to raise funds for Women’s Employment Resource Centre and Ingamo Homes. Along with two guest speakers, who will join us and share stories about Sister Colleen Wake as we pay tribute to her life dedicated to community service and social justice.
Tickets are $35.00 and can be purchased at the union hall, or by contacting the Women’s Committee at womens@unifor88.ca
