How the Working-Class is portrayed in Films and TV: Myths and Reality
4 units/sessions – Jan 30, Feb 6, 27, March 6
The working-class is often ignored, mocked, and stereotyped in films and TV. This course looks at examples, discusses how this happens, and what the negative effects of this are. We will also look at alternative, more realistic and positive portrayals of workers.
**Registration for this course opens Jan. 6, closes Jan 23 @ noon
Please send me an email once you have registered to let me know that you are taking the class. If I know that you have signed up for the classes, I will send an email out the day before each class to remind you that it is the next day. This program has become very popular in the last few years, and an educated workforce is always a positive!
