It is with great news that we can announce, we have finally received approval for the Unifor (London Regional) Action Center from the government. There will be Action Centers located at Unifor Local 27 in London and Unifor Local 88 in Ingersoll.
I would like to thank all the members who submitted an application for the positions at the Local 88 Action Center. This local has many talented members, which made the selection process that much more difficult to select only two members.
At the end of the day, we would like to announce that Pamela Moore and Juli Franklin have been selected to run the Action Center at Unifor Local 88 union hall. Congratulations to Pamela and Juli and we look forward to working with both of you to provide ongoing support for all our members at Unifor Local 88 during these difficult times.
The Action Center will be up and running over the next couple of weeks. Additional information regarding hours of operation and programing availability to follow. All information will be on the local website with regards to Action Center activities.
