Very proud to announce that our Bargaining Team was able to negotiate a new agreement for the members of Unit 2 (AWC) that the membership accepted this afternoon with a 100% ratification vote.
This unanimous vote secures a deal for our members who will see 5%, 4%, 4% wage increases, totaling 13% over the life of this 3 year deal. In addition to wage increases and with full membership support, the bargaining team was able to secure significant benefit increases, more paid time off, a substantial signing bonus as well as language to provide the membership security, and maintain safety and ergonomics levels going forward.
