Electronic Vacancy Election 2026

Online from April 24, 2026 (6:00am) – April 26, 2026 (12:00)

• When the election starts (6:00 am, April 24th) members will automatically start to receive an email marked Unifor Local 88 from Simply Voting (vote@simplyvoting.com). The same way you received it in past elections.
• Your email will include [Elector ID] and a unique [Password] assigned to that email address.
• The information provided to you will be used to sign in and access your ballot. Only 1 vote per elector ID/EMAIL is possible.
• When you receive your ballot, please verify that your ballot is CORRECT. If you notice any mistakes or you think there is a mistake, please reach out BEFORE submitting your vote. Once your vote has been submitted, we cannot correct any mistakes.
• PLEASE CHECK ALL SPAM FOLDERS if you do not see the email.
• Elections can resend the email if needed.
• Members will be sent reminders throughout the election for those who have not voted yet.
• Email the elections committee if any help is needed.
• Once signed in, members will see the segments they are able to vote for.
• If entries are left blank the ballot will still submit, as all fields are optional. Your votes will be marked as “abstained”.
• Once you have voted and clicked continue, please review your selections and click confirm and wait for the success screen. Once you see that screen you know your vote was submitted correctly.

Voting Segments

1. Members active in the plant/recall members – Vote for Exec and In-plant (all 4 open positions)
2. AWC and Retirees – Vote for Executive positions only (2 positions)
