Canada Day Acknowledgments

Canada Day I acknowledge the land I live on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Anishinaabe, and the Haudenosaunee, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. I acknowledge that Oxford County is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Agreement and Treaty 3 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. Every day I acknowledge and thank the keepers of the land around the globe. Every day I commit to ongoing and active reconciliation with the intent of making Canada a better place to thrive for all people. We can do it, eh! ❤️🍁❤️
