We have a large number of members signed up for the ESA package to retire or quit CAMI, eligible on or before January 1, 2023.
Due to the Christmas shutdown period, when no one will be available at head office for processing, we are moving the Jan 1, 2023 severance sign-up period ahead to get the required paperwork done in time so people can retire or sever smoothly. Only those planning to sever on or before Jan 1, 2023 need to act at this time.
If you are looking to retire or leave CAMI via the ESA buyout option on or before Jan 1, 2023, and have 30 weeks on the list below, there will be a mass sign up at the Union Hall.
The sign up will include your sign up for severing, calculation for ESA monies, and the ability to initiate Retirement.
The paperwork will be available, and you must sign off at that time.
Sign up sessions – 9am until 12 noon
- Wednesday December 7, 2022
- Thursday December 8, 2022
When you come to the hall to sign up, you will be required to decide, and sign off, on the designation of your ESA monies – Cash, RRSP, etc.
