We will be offering a 1-day Emergency First Aid Level C Training Course with St. John’s Ambulance at the Union Hall. This course will be fully funded for a maximum of 50 members- first come first serve (you must currently be on lay off status from General Motors at date of course). Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
COURSE CONTENT
- Responding to an emergency
- Recognizing a mental health emergency
- CPR & AED for adults, children, and Infants
- Bleeding and burn management
- Medical emergencies
There will be a break for lunch, please bring your own lunch. There are fridges and microwaves available at the hall.
For this training course you must have full commitment as cancellations will result in the loss of your spot and funds, and you cannot currently have a valid first aid certificate of any kind.
