London, Ontario based orthotics company Step Sciences, an approved provider, will be offering one-stop shopping for orthotics at the Unifor Local 88 union hall on Wednesdays, starting June 7th. Sign up for an appointment here: https://camilocal88.stepsciences.com/
This will be a one-stop shopping experience. There will be a doctor onsite to give you your prescription and they will do the fitting right there at your 15 minute appointment. They will also direct bill Green Shield on your behalf, so there is no money out of pocket for our GM Cami members. You will then pick up your orthotics at the union hall approximately four weeks later, once you’ve been notified that they are ready.
Under the GM Cami benefits plan, members are entitled to get orthotics covered once every 36 months. You must not have ordered orthotics within the last 36 months or your new orthotics will not be covered. You can check your eligibility with Green Shield directly.
