This week we were informed that Unifor National is appointing Unifor Local 88 member, Mike Murphy, as the GM Unifor National Training Coordinator.
Mike will be working with various Unifor Locals at GM locations throughout Canada. The timing has not yet been announced.
For over 15 years Mike was a representative in the Assembly department before taking on the role of Unifor Local 88 Coordinator in 2013, and has been a member of numerous bargaining committees. Mike will be missed at Local 88, but he will be an invaluable asset in his new role.
