Hi everyone,
We’ve heard from a few of you recently that our newsletter updates haven’t always been making it to your inbox, especially for those of you using Yahoo or Gmail. We know how frustrating it is to miss an update, so we’ve been working behind the scenes to fix it!
What’s changed?
I’ve recently updated the DNS (Domain Name System) settings for unifor88.ca.
In plain English: I’ve added some digital “credentials” to our website. These settings act like an official ID card, telling your email provider (like Yahoo or Google) that our newsletters are definitely coming from us and aren’t spam. This helps your inbox recognize us as a trusted sender.
What this means for you:
-
Better Delivery: Our emails should now land safely in your primary inbox rather than being filtered out.
-
Reliability: You’ll stay up to date with everything happening at Unifor 88 without having to go hunting for our messages.
These changes can take about 24 to 48 hours to fully take effect across the internet. If you still don’t see our next update, please check your spam folder one last time and mark us as “Not Spam”—this helps “train” your email provider to trust us in the future.
Not on the list yet?
If you haven’t already signed up for our newsletter, now is the perfect time! It emails you once a day with our website posts from the day before.
Join our mailing list to get the latest news and updates delivered directly to you.
Thanks for sticking with us while we smooth out these digital wrinkles!
Best,
Allan
