Incident Notification
This afternoon, a fire was reported at CAMI Assembly. Out of an abundance of caution, the General Assembly area was evacuated and the fire department is on the scene. At this time no injuries have been reported, and there appears to be minimal damage to the plant. GM is working with authorities to investigate the incident.
The incident site has now been cleared and 3rd shift (midnights) operations will resume as scheduled.More communication will be shared with the team at start of shift Thursday September 7th.
Please note: Operations on the 2nd shift (afternoons) were canceled as GM continued to work with authorities to investigate the incident.
