This will be a short update – please don’t consider the length of this update to reflect what is going on.
Many meetings are happening. Progress is being made. We are much closer to an agreement now than we were a week ago, with some of the harder items getting resolved.
There is a ton on the table right now, we are working through this.
We continue to get many emails, messages, from the membership. To be clear, we will not discuss plant closure, that is not an option that neither GM nor the Union have even raised as an option. We will not entertain plant closure suggestions. We are looking at options for all of our members.
When we do get an agreement, we will provide a video ASAP to inform the members of the details.
