The Inplant Committee and GM have reached an agreement on the issues surrounding notice of layoff period, 26 weeks, retirement packages, packages to leave the company and other items.
We will be posting a video at noon today to explain what has happened and the dates and timelines for rollout meetings.
This letter does not address our short term or long-term investment needs. That is a separate agreement, and those talks continue between Unifor, GM, and the federal and provincial governments.
