Payroll is having a very difficult time with the programming for the new SUB entitlement.
Right now, they are manually inputting SUB entitlement for 70% for each person each week.
Payroll is giving people 36 weeks of SUB right now (which is shown on paystubs) simply as a bridge while they work this out.
As per the new collective agreement everyone has their full SUB entitlement, and your paystubs will show your full weeks once this issue is sorted out.
We have 20 items from the collective agreement that are needed to be implemented.
8 are done, 8 are currently being worked on and 4 have not yet been touched. Some topics are the responsibility of the same person on GM’s side of the house, so we have prioritized each item as we work towards implementing all items.
