Unifor Local 88 Stands with the Wainwright Military Community
On behalf of the membership and leadership of Unifor Local 88, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends and fellow service members grieving the lives lost in the tragedy at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright.
Our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones as they face the difficult days ahead. We also thank the first responders, medical teams and military personnel caring for those affected.
As union members, we believe everyone deserves to return home safely. When lives are lost in service, the grief reaches far beyond one base or one community.
To all members of the Canadian Armed Forces protecting our country at home and abroad, we stand with you in solidarity. We recognize your dedication, the risks you face and the sacrifices you and your families make.
To everyone affected by this tragedy, please know that your grief is shared, your service is valued and you are not alone.
In solidarity,
Unifor Local 88
