To say that we are pleased and relieved with GM’s announcement this morning regarding a long overdue return to a two-shift operation, would be an understatement. The decision to ramp up production in the first quarter of 2025 marks a significant step forward from where we are currently at.
We understand that there are going to be many questions about what happens between now and then, know that your bargaining team will be working to bring you those answers in the next couple of weeks.
We will be heading to the hotel on Sunday, and spending the next two weeks there negotiating a damn good collective agreement to bring to you on September 22, 2024
