Coldest Night of the Year needs volunteer Route Marshals on February 24.  4:00-7:00pm

Meet the Fusion Youth Centre for brief safety training before the walk begins

Route marshals are key to the safety and fun experience of the event. You will be assigned a key corner or intersection where you will be responsible for ensuring that walkers follow the designated walking route and that they are mindful of road safety. You will be assigned a partner (or bring your own…) and will be given a safety vest and sign that indicates their current distance along the walk. If you’re really into your duties, you can cheer the walkers on and thank them for participating. All volunteer are invited to join in a hot meal at the Fusion Youth Centre at the end of the walk.

Students over 13 years of age are welcome to earn their volunteer hours.
