Vacation Payout

For the top 618 members who are not returning in November, the company has paid out your vacation this week.

If you see this payout on your pay stub, please contact one of the Benefits Representatives. We can assist you in reporting the payout to Service Canada. You do not need to list it as “other monies” on your report if we report it for you.

Currently, there is a temporary measure with Employment Insurance (EI) where Service Canada does not allocate vacation payouts from your EI benefits. However, it is important to document this payout with Service Canada to avoid any audit or integrity issues.
