In honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Unifor Local 88 / GM Cami Social Justice fund gave a donation of $10,000 to Nokee Kwe of London, Ontario.
The +Positive Voice Program assists Indigenous women in finding employment as well as finding their voices and being able to tell their stories in many creative directions. +Positive Voice Program Coordinator Colleen Jamieson accepted the donation today at the Unifor Local 88 union hall.
Unifor Local 88 AWOC (Aboriginal and Workers of Colour) Chair Max Jamieson was instrumental in coordinating this donation.
