The Master Bargaining Committee as well as all Specialty Reps will be in London this week participating in GM Council and Auto Council.
GM Council will be reviewing the GM language from bargaining gains made last year. All specialty reps and Inplant reps will be split into their respective committees to review the changes, benefit gains, and any issues that remain open that Local 88 could potentially work on and fix.
At Auto Council we will be reviewing all pattern issues involving economics. We will also have a presentation on new pensions for the DC members.
This is the final GM and Auto councils before our bargaining talks begin this summer.
The two councils wrap up on Thursday.
