Need Help With GM Services?

Change or Reset Your GM Password / Passphrase

Use the GMID password recovery system if you need to change or reset your GM password.

  1. Go to GMID.GM.com .
  2. Choose Password Reset and Account Recovery .
  3. Enter your GMID, GMIN and last name .
  4. Select Next.
  5. Use Copy UPN to copy the username needed for the next step.
  6. Enter your GM email address or paste the username you copied.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Complete the required 2-Step Verification.
  9. Create your new password.
  10. Enter the new password again to confirm it.
  11. Select Submit.
  12. Select Done to finish.
