I would like to thank everyone who participated/helped/donated on International Women’s Day. We raised $2,908 for two very worthy and incredible organizations in our community. Every dollar of these funds will go directly to helping women and their children. Thank you again to our members for their overwhelming generosity.
Former Local 88 President Cathy Austin sits on the board of directors for Women’s Employment Resource Centre and she said, “I am not surprised at all by the generosity of this Local, as I have seen it time and time again. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all”.
