The Inplant and Company have had many discussions in regard to allowing STPT’s and TPT’s back into the plant.
With the sheer number of members retiring and others who are taking various COVID related leaves, we are getting close to 150 members forced to other shifts on a weekly basis.
We have agreed, starting June 15, to allow STPT’s and TPT’s to work in place of members that are forced onto other shifts. There will likely still need to have some members forced just due to sheer numbers, but this should greatly decrease the amount of people currently being forced to different shifts. We will still be looking for volunteers and any full-time members wanting to work will be given the first chance prior to any STPT’s/TPT’s coming in.
