To the Members of Unifor Local 88:
2021 and Covid-19 has presented us all with many obstacles and hampered our ability to continue doing some things the same way.
As we prepare for our triennial elections in the summer of 2021 we need to ensure all eligible members will be able to participate in these important processes.
To participate in online voting members must register by filling out the attached form. There will be no manual option. Those without access to a phone or computer will be provided with access at the union hall.
The information provided by our members is confidential and will be used by Unifor Local 88 and Simply Voting solely for the purpose of communication, elections and voting for strike mandates, ratifications and other membership issues and will not be shared with any other party.
The Simply Voting system ensures that no one is able to see how individuals vote. It is encrypted and deleted by Simply Voting and not accessible by anyone else. We have researched the process and are confident in it.
