Big 3 bargaining begins on Aug 10 2023. Unifor Local 88 President, Brent Tree and GM Cami Plant Chair, Mike Van Boekel will be in attendance in Toronto. Although Local 88’s contract ends next year (Sept 2024), the upcoming negotiations are massively important for our membership as well, as we share with pattern bargaining.
Unifor National has set up a website to keep members informed of the bargaining process. It’s planned to release at least two updates a week to ensure everyone is kept up to date.
