If you are on layoff, all paid vacation that is less than a full week has been pulled from the vacation calendars. If you had a paid vacation day or any paid time less than a week it has been pulled out of the system, this follows the contract. If you want a paid vacation day(s) due for travelling to the USA or for whatever reason, you must notify your respective vacation departmental lead.
Also the company is reviewing all outstanding vacation – if you have full weeks we strongly suggest you call your respective vacation lead and book your time. At some point the company will be booking on your behalf and they do have the right to put your vacation into layoff weeks. If you’re not sure I suggest emailing your vacation lead and get full weeks into the vacation calendars.
